WITHDRAWAL:

Any pledge signer is welcome to withdraw from the pledge at any point and may notify the pledge administrator of withdrawal, at which point, their name will be removed from the list/database.

We welcome anyone to sign again if they so chose.

We ask that any signer of the pledge please withdraw their name prior to participating in online social media covered by the pledge.
BREAKING THE PLEDGE:

This pledge is based on the honor system. We will not have any checks on your online social media activity. That being said, it is quite easy for peers to identify those who are using online social media not in accordance with the pledge.

If you feel someone is not honoring the pledge, please notify the pledge administrator. Your name will be kept confidential. We will notify both the signer and their parents of the infraction. They will have a chance to address the concern and make changes to be in accordance with the pledge if there was in fact an infraction.

Please do not approach your peers directly. We do not want the pledge to cause conflicts among peers.

If the administrator receives another notification we will notify the signer and parent that they will be removed from the pledge list.

Anyone removed is welcome to resign the pledge after 2 weeks of being removed.

We do not want this to feel punitive, however, we want to respect those that are adhering to the pledge. The only way for this to work is for everyone doing it to be on board. If you feel the pledge is too restrictive for you, we understand.
